Where the power is cutting in/out, please try the following:
Wall plug - Check the plug is secure in the socket, try a different extension / wall socket
Adapter - The adapter has 2 connection points (from wall-plug-to-adapter and adapter-to-bike-input point), check that these are secure. The EX5s bike has 2 power inlets, to the front and rear, try both.
Bluetooth light- Check whether the Bluetooth blue light is flashing (pairing mode)
EX3 - checking console connectors
- UNPLUG you power adapter from the bike before proceeding
- If the Bluetooth light remains lit on your EX3, press and hold for 10 seconds until all power is discharged from the console.
- Carefully release both connectors by pressing the release tap, these are latched / clip connectors much like a landline telephone socket. Access may be easier if the console is detached from the handlebar (4 small screws on underside)
- Check for damage or loose wires, re-insert connectors
- Reconnect power adapter to bike and power on
Sport - checking Bluetooth connector
- UNPLUG you power adapter from the bike before proceeding
- Carefully unclip the connector by pressing the long tab
- Check for damage or loose wires, re-attach
- Reconnect power adapter to bike and power on
