KST/Z33 Tablet Firmware Updates

JST/KST Echelon tablets can be updated using the following process. To check if you have a JST or KST Echelon tablet, please go to the More screen and scroll to the very bottom. At the beginning of the tablet firmware version, you will see the letters JST or KST. Please follow these instructions to update. 

Updating

To update your JST/KST tablet, power cycle your unit and you will see the screen below. Press update.

After the update, you will receive a notice that says System Update and a warning about an older version of Android. Tap Okay. 

 

After that notice, you will receive a notice that says System Update Complete. It will ask if you want to delete the file; press Yes.

Troubleshooting

Stuck at 100% Downloading- Restart your equipment by unplugging, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging back in. Alternatively, you can restart via the power switch. Once complete, the tablet will reboot into the update immediately. If it does not, a popup will appear saying a system update is available. Please hit accept and let the update proceed. 

"Cannot find Echelon App" - Restart your equipment by power cycling it off, wait 10 seconds, plug it back in, and power it on.
